Frequently asked questions

Please contact the clinic on 021 149 2974 to make an appointment.

If you are seeing us regarding your voice you will need a referral from an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist / Otolaryngologist to guide treatment and assure the best possible outcome.

Your initial session involves a detailed case history, perceptual and acoustic assessment of your voice (if appropriate), analysis and a therapy plan.  In most cases you will be given exercises and advice to continue with in the following weeks.

The subsequent therapy sessions differ depending on each client’s needs but will review and improve vocal ability / health in line with mutually agreed goals.

The client should leave the session with an increased understanding of their situation, with specific techniques in place to promote vocal health and improved voice quality / airway management.

Please allow up to an hour for the case history, assessment and therapy plan in the initial session.

Subsequent therapy sessions range from 30 – 40 mins.

Initial assessment includes analysis and a letter/report to the professional that referred you (with a copy to you) and costs $160.

A tailored therapy program will be designed for you and subsequent therapy sessions cost $90.

Therapy is usually run on a fortnightly basis.

Please note you will be invoiced after the sessions.  Please be aware that there is a 50% cancellation fee payable if less than 24 hours notice is provided.
